MUSHROOM SOVEREIGN
I took a wonderful history class on different creatures and mythologies around the world, and the final project was to create a creature of our own. I liked the idea of a little creature that tends to its own forest, and helps it maintain a healthy cycle of decomposition and renewal. I imagined this reclusive, cat-like king would cover itself in the foliage native to its domain, both to help it with camouflage and keep it looking snazzy. A king needs to dress to impress after all.
