STARRY ACCESSORIES
I was unfortunately one of the many highschoolers who missed out on their big prom due to the COVID pandemic. Naturally, when my college offered a fun get-together/party event, I had to dress myself up for it. As part of the outfit, I manufactured plastic star accessories for different applications. For fun, I also created a packaging concept if such a product might be sold in a craft or costume store.
PROCESS
The entire outfit came together in under a month, mostly because the event was only a few weeks away from when I started working on the stars. The shirt and corset belt were made completely by hand, and the pants were taken in at the waist. The stars themselves were 3D-modeled and printed in ABS resin, then spray painted and assembled.
